From Policy to Practice: Embedding Socio-Economic Progression into Everyday Operations, a roundtable for Chief Operating Officers
We know that not only is ‘getting in’ a barrier to those from lower socio-economic backgrounds but what can be equally as hard is ‘getting on’ and progressing within financial services. Not only is it harder to progress but in 2024 the social Mobility Foundation found that professionals from working-class backgrounds in the UK were paid an average of £6,287 less per year than those from their more privileged peers in the same job.
This roundtable in association with Grant Thornton UK is aimed at Chief Operating Officers, focused on turning socio-economic inclusion from a strategic ambition into everyday operational reality.
