At Progress Together, we are extremely excited going into the new year after 12 months characterised by growth. New names in our network include Bank of America, Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, Grant Thornton, Lewis Silkin, LV, and OSB Group, with new members bringing our reach to 60 employers.

This year saw many highlights:

At the Bank of England we released the largest dataset on socio-economic diversity within financial services, in partnership with the Bridge Group. Read more about our Performance, not Privilege report.

We were pleased to see Progress Together referenced in HM Treasury’s Financial Inclusion Strategy. This reflects increased recognition of the link between socio-economic inclusion and the need to develop products and services that represent a broad range of consumers.

In partnership with the Association of Executive Search and Leadership Consultants, we launched a new recruitment toolkit. This marks a significant step in dismantling barriers and broadening access to leadership roles. Learn more about the toolkit here.

We also focused on the increasing impact of AI; in collaboration with Accenture, we published research on the divide in AI access across financial services, spotlighting unequal digital adoption and urging leadership to align productivity with inclusion as the sector embraces emerging technologies. Over the year, our members have demonstrated leadership and innovation across the sector, with many earning recognition in the Social Mobility Foundation’s Top 75 Employer Index.

We were thrilled to see our Chair, Vincent Keaveny CBE, recognised with the ‘Outstanding Contribution to Social Mobility’ award at the Social Mobility Awards.

As the not-for-profit membership body championing socio-economic inclusion at senior levels in UK financial services, our mission remains clear: to ensure talent from all backgrounds can progress to the top.

All of this wouldn’t be possible without your support. Thank you to each and every member, partner, and supporter – your input is what drives change forward.
