Within your application we’d love to see how you evidence progression on socio-economic diversity and go beyond that of the ‘Inclusive Employment Award’ which celebrates businesses that remove barriers to employment and progression for disadvantaged, underrepresented or minority groups, creating a more diverse and inclusive London workforce.
Eligibility
Organisations should be advancing socio-economic diversity at senior levels and may also be a Top 75 Employer on the Social Mobility Employer Index, a signatory to the Social Mobility Pledge or other similar initiatives.
Applicants should be able to evidence progression on socio-economic diversity and go beyond that of the ‘Inclusive Employment Award’ which celebrates businesses that remove barriers to employment and progression for disadvantaged, underrepresented or minority groups, creating a more diverse and inclusive London workforce.
Businesses of all sizes from across the UK should apply.
Examples of Advancing Socio-economic Diversity in Business:
Organisations who are:
collecting socio-economic background data on existing employees
are achieving good response rates to employee data collection surveys (confirm % if possible)
have an action plan or targets to make improvements, with a particular focus on progression, overseen by accountable leadership
