SUMMARY:Working with Executive Search Firms on your Talent Strategy
DESCRIPTION:Interactive member webinar to discuss how to implement recommendations from the Progress Together/AESC toolkit\n\n\n\nProgress Together’s latest Data Report shows that experienced hires continue to account for two-thirds of the senior workforce. This appear to be helping sustain the current lack of socio-economic diversity at a senior level rather than contributing positively to re-balancing it. Working with the Association of Executive Search and Leadership Consultants (AESC)\, Progress Together has launched a toolkit to support financial services organisations work with executive search consultants in diversifying the socio-economic backgrounds of their senior hires. \n\n\nIn this interactive webinar\, we will discuss how to implement recommendations from the toolkit. \nThe webinar will include an introduction to the toolkit and the recommendations from the Progress Together’s roundtable with Chief People Officers and senior representatives from executive search firms. Participants will discuss these recommendations\, how this works with their talent strategy\, and identify actions they can take.

SUMMARY:From Policy to Practice: Roundtable for Chief Operating Officers (COO) in association with Grant Thornton UK
DESCRIPTION:From Policy to Practice: Embedding Socio-Economic Progression into Everyday Operations\, a roundtable for Chief Operating Officers\n\n\n\nWe know that not only is ‘getting in’ a barrier to those from lower socio-economic backgrounds but what can be equally as hard is ‘getting on’ and progressing within financial services. Not only is it harder to progress but in 2024 the social Mobility Foundation found that professionals from working-class backgrounds in the UK were paid an average of £6\,287 less per year than those from their more privileged peers in the same job. \n\n\nThis roundtable in association with Grant Thornton UK is aimed at Chief Operating Officers\, focused on turning socio-economic inclusion from a strategic ambition into everyday operational reality. Contact info@progresstogether.co.uk to find out more about the roundtable.
